Co-Founder: Tom Andrews [Addendum]
A former motocross
racer and trials competitor, co-founder and former contributing
editor Tom Andrews is a bona-fide motorcycle nut, and one who
is always beginning. Author of six books, he has twenty years'
experience in book and magazine editing, and has published in
magazines ranging from Racer X Illustrated and VQ
to Harper's and The Paris Review.
Co-Founder: Matthew Takens
A
motorcycle rider and enthusiast for more than 20 years, co-founder
Matthew Takens has owned a number of different bikes, ranging
from Honda's cute 'ole Trail 70 "mini-bike" to the more
exotic Interceptor VF500 and Shadow VT500C. A successful web developer
and IT Consultant, he continues to maintain Beginner Bikes with
hopes of keeping Tom's dream alive. He currently travels the country
in a 21' motorhome promoting our community's cause.
