The 800 Classic answers--or anticipates, depending on your point of view--the retro-look of Yamaha's V-Star Classic and Honda's Shadow 750 A.C.E. It's one of the nicest machines with the "classic" designation: faultless attention to detail, generous chrome, with a user-friendly engine that nevertheless quickens the heart with its sound and performance. Like the other Vulcan 800s, it's outfitted with chain drive. Seat height: 27.8 inches.

Kawi's 800 Classic fetches a B rating as well, the more friendly rake and trail is offset with some extra weight so it still retains the B rating I have assigned all the mid size cruisers.
