bike
descriptionThe
same bike as the V-Star
Classic except for its low (and we mean low),
lean "chopper" styling rather than the Classic's,
well, classic lines. Yamaha's V-Star siblings are no doubt the
reason why Honda now offers the Shadow 750 in A.C.E.
Deluxe and Spirit
versions. Kawasaki also offers multiple versions of its popular
Vulcan series; the Vulcan
800, Vulcan
800 Classic, and Vulcan
800 Drifter. Shaft drive and large fuel tanks
make the V-Stars hard to beat. Seat height: 25.6 inches.
V-star
reputation for grabby clutch is bothersome. This is a better
choice than a 750 or 800 but there are plenty of other cruisers
that are more beginner friendly.
I like
the chopper-esque styled bikes, but for some reason I find
the V-Star Classic more appealing than their Custom. My
personal styling opinion aside, the 650 Star is a good place
to start if you're looking for a mid sized bike. And like
the majority of the mid sized cruisers, I give it the B
rating.
